FAQ’s
How do I measure my caravan for a full awning?
When sizing your caravan up for an awning you must first make sure it is on level ground and then measure from the ground, around the awning rail and back down to the ground. Most awning manufacturers require this in centimetres. This measurement is often referred to as the ‘A’ measurement. We recommend taking this measurement yourself instead of using the size guide in your caravan manual as these have been known to be wrong.
Can I leave my awning or porch up all year?
Awning manufacturers normally have an all weather awning or porch in their range (for example the Outdoor Revolution Brunswick) which has been specially designed for this purpose and will be advertised as ‘all weather’ or for ‘permanent pitching’. Standard awnings and lightweight porches should not be left up all year round as they can be damaged by strong weather conditions (wind, snow, storms etc) and have not been specially treated.
