Waudbys do not recommend basing your height/A measurement from a manufacturer's handbook or an awning size chart. Waudbys are unable to accept responsibility for incorrectly sized awning, therefore we ask all customers to advise us where they got their height/A measurement from and they are happy to go ahead with the purchase on this size and information. We recommend all of our customers to physically measure in centimetres the caravan or motorhome you wish to use the awning on to be 100% sure of the measurement before purchasing the product, as returns of awnings removed from the manufacturers packaging will incur a £10-£50 restocking fee depending on the model.
All awnings have a minimum twelve month warranty, any faults which relate to material or production errors will be repaired free of charge under the warranty terms.
Warranty does NOT cover the following:
Repair/replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
Cosmetic damage
Damage direct or indirect due to:
Poor weather conditions (such as storms and snow) or any cause beyond the reasonable control of the manufacturer.
Misuse or neglect
Incorrect erection or use of excessive force
Lack of maintenance
Unauthorised attempted repair or alteration by any party other disappointment than the manufacturer.
Waudbys can only take an awning back if there is a manufacturing fault, which should be checked within a 14 day period. If there is a fault when you open the awning Waudbys will not refund or exchange it until it is checked which may take up to 7 days. If there are parts missing then we will supply you the parts that are required and you do not have to return the awning.
If you wish to make a claim under warranty, please make sure that the awning is returned in a clean and dry condition. Soiled and wet awnings are impossible to handle, any awnings received in this condition will be returned untreated. If manufacturing fault is apparent the awning will be returned to the manufacturers and will be checked at the time or return. This process can take anytime from 4-8 weeks depending on the time of year and warranty repair. You must bring your receipt/disclaimer form when you would like to make a claim.
