Camping and caravanning can be a fun and cost affective holiday for the whole family. Camping is also a great way to explore different places. Family days out can get costly when going to theme parks, amusements and attractions it can soon add up. So we've decided to come up with a list of fun activities to do whilst camping that won't break the bank.

 

Exploring the outdoors

Camping is great for being at one with nature, going on a long walk to explore the local area is a great idea. Grab a map and choose a route with interesting view points and varied terrain. Going into the woods is an excellent way to explore nature there are plenty of fun things to do here are a few suggestions.

  • Spotting local wildlife
  • Nature gathering (rocks, flowers, pine cones, leaves)
  • A scavenger hunt
  • Collecting fire wood
  • Geocaching
  • Building a den from sticks
